Aussie hunk Jesse Spencer and his House co-star Jennifer Morrison have called off their engagement, People.com reports.
"After much consideration, we have decided not to get married," the couple said in a joint statement.
"We are still very close, and we look forward to continuing to work together on House."
The 28-year-old proposed to Morrison at the Eiffel Tower in Paris after six months of hesitation.
"She's just so frickin' smart, and I didn't want her to have any inkling that it was about to happen," Spencer told InStyle Weddings at the time.
He first planned to pop the question when the two were holidaying in Costa Rica but his then-wife-to-be got sick.
They then went on a camping trip to California's Big Sur” where the mountains rise up from the Pacific Ocean” but the pair were "freezing the whole time", Morrison said.
Finally, on their trip to Paris, Spencer handed Morrison a box containing a ring and proposed in French.
"I was like, 'Uh, what are you doing?'" Morrison told the magazine.
"He said, 'I'm asking you to marry me in French!' I was just staring at him. I don't speak French. And he said, 'Well, are you going to answer?' And I replied, 'Oh, yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!'"
The two had planned to wed later this year.
